Zubair is accused in a case related to an "objectionable tweet" he had posted in 2018 AHMEDABAD: A metropolitan court in Ahemdabad sent social activist Teesta Setalvad and former Gujarat DGP RB Sreekumar to 14-day judicial custody, informed officials on Saturday. Gujarat Police Crime Branch on Sunday arrested Teesta Setalvad in connection with a case against her NGO which gave baseless information about the 2002 Gujarat riots to the police. "Police didn't seek further remand of accused Teesta Setalvad and RB Sreekumar and asked the court to keep them in judicial custody. The Metropolitan court has sent them to 14-day judicial custody," said Public Prosecutor Amit Patel. The arrests came after Union Minister Amit Shah, in an inter- against a Hindu deity.
