MI News New Delhi : Rain lowers temperature, relief in South Bengal! MI News Service, Kolkata: In the last two days of scat- tered rains, the temperature in Kolkata has dropped a lot. The temperature was below 40 degrees Celsius in almost all the districts of the state on Monday . Last week, the temperature in many districts, including Kolkata, was close to 40 degrees. The Alipore Meteorological Department earlier forecast it was likely to hover around 34 degrees on Monday. On the other hand, four more days of squalls are forecast in South Bengal.
